Cant get it to work

I tried it out, but every time I try to set it up, when the alarm time I set it for comes around, it does nothing but bring up a notification saying "cannot play track; please enter a track URL". But gives me no option to do anything of the sort. The only think I could think of doing was trying to set it to a different spotify playlist- but that didnt work either. I tried several different playlists- ones that I had downloaded and ones that I had not, and I tried them with spotify both open at the same time and closed. Nothing worked, and there is nothing in the included manual about entering a URL.
